West Modular Apartments is a 22-unit co-living apartment building. This will be West Modular Manufacturing’s first project in Los Angeles.

The Hoffman Team bring to this modular project the knowledge and experience from its first modular project Hope on Broadway.

5-stories of modular units over 1-story podium on grade.

Spanning four stories, the building features a solid concrete foundation on the first floor, providing stability and durability. Above, the top three floors showcase the ingenuity of modular construction, with living units fabricated off-site in a local Southern California factory and seamlessly assembled on-site.

QUALITY CONTROL TO ENSURE SUCCESS

Joseph Yazbeck is the Lead Project Manager, and brings a style of management that ties closely all parties to ensure that the project is successfully completed (on time & budget).

The quality control process incorporates the use of a Robotic Total Station. This ensures that nothing is missed in the process.

SOLUTION DRIVEN

When issues came up regarding the architectural drawings for the modular elevator, HMCC stepped in to determine the correct solution. When the modular elevator was installed, it matched perfectly with the building.

A total of 50 modules with fully finished kitchens and restrooms are built off-site.

Hoffman makes it happen. On our first modular (during 2022), we didn’t accept any excuses – such as the supply-chain issues with Eaton’s breakers. It threatened the completion of the project, however, our team explored alternative solutions and delivered in a timely manner.

Hoffman quickly adapts to new challenges.
