OUR TEAM
ERIK HOFFMAN, PE
Erik is the President of HMCC since 2008. He is the second generation of Hoffman leading the family business. He is a licensed Civil Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Southern California. He is committed to continue growing HMCC while upholding the principles of transparency, exceptional quality and collaborative engagement. He is an avid explorer, gardener, classic car enthusiast and snowboarder. Erik dedicates his life to making Los Angeles a better place, one building at a time.
JOSEPH YAZBECK, PE
Joseph is the Project Manager at HMCC. He wears multiple hats, going the extra mile to ensure that needs of HMCC’s clients are taken care of. He is passionate about modular construction. He is a licensed Civil Engineer and holds a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
GABRIELA FERNANDEZ
Gabriela leads the Administrative part of HMCC. She oversees the company’s financials and safety procedures. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology that comes in handy by bridging the gap between people and structures, ensuring not only the successful completion of projects but also fostering a collaborative work environment. She loves to spend time in her peaceful back yard, with family & sometimes in silence enjoying a documentary. She has a passion for helping youth and working in local communities.
JOSH MURRAY
Josh is a Project Engineer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. He enjoys working with an experienced team of builders both in the office and in the field. He prides himself in attention to detail and self-discipline. Outside of work he enjoys body-building and going for hikes around California.
BIANCA CHAVEZ
Bianca is the Human Resources Manager. She also oversees labor compliance on publicly funded projects. With an exceptional ability to merge creativity with unwavering time management skills, she is a fast learner who helps to ensure that our processes are not only compliant but also fosters an environment where employees thrive and projects excel. Bianca enjoys painting, reading, gardening & is always thrilled to take on DIY projects around her home.
